Mines Ecu Advice R33 Gtr

hi

i have a mines r33gtr ecu available to me for my standard gtr, absolutely no mods at all, and am wondering if it,s worth fitting in it,s current state or do i need to do other mods to experience any gains. Obviously various mods will utilise the capibilities of the mines ecu but as standard would it be a positive move.

No.

Essentially its an unknown tune (which is bad) and it will be tuned for Jap fuel which is different to ours.

Dont do it, get an adjustable ECU, dont risk blowing your engine.

Ignore him and buy my MINES ECU . Just kidding...

The MINES ECU's are *ok* but nothing compared to a fully adjustable ECU like the PowerFC.

However you can't tell what they were tuned for which is a bad thing.

Oh, to get a big benefit from an aftermarket ECU there are a few basic mods you should do first, covered in the FAQ's somewhere on the forum

PM sent. The MINES ECU will be on Ebay by Monday night so if anyone wants it just ask or buy it off ebay (probably for very little ).
