Comments / Modifications: This car is a good, clean stock gtr. The engine was rebuilt around 8000k's ago with foged JE pistons, let me know if you want any details of the rebuild. Needs a new clutch but comes with a Nismo GMAX twin plate thats only done 4000k. Also comes with everything needed to do this clutch install including a Nismo flywheel. Also needs new disks and pads but it comes with a full set of genuine Brembo pads. Has a K&N panel air filter but comes with a HKS pod air filter kit that is close to brand new. The car also has a Fujitsubo Giken cat back exhaust, This is a full titanium exhaust that would cost around $4000 to replace. It has Ohlins coilover suspension all round with adjustable damper. It has an omnitronic alarm that values at $1500 that has remote start and an in car camera that displays photos on the pager alarm handset. It has a 400r front lip and also has genuine R33 GT-R floormats. Stock enterior apart from a near top of the range Pioneer cd/mp3 player with bluetooth. Speaker setup is Rockford fosgate 6" all round with a 600watt pioneer amplifier. Its got a blitz turbo timer and 2x Blitz blowoff valves. Inspections welcomed, let me know if you want photo's. I will have to get them from my computer at home but I have heaps, incuding pics of the rebuild.

Its a fairly stock GT-R with low K's and Maroon is a very rair colour. I have seen more Midnight Purple R33 GT-R's than Maroon. $30,000 ono. Cant go wrong. If you want to swap, let me know the details of what your swapping. I need this car gone because i dont have the budget anymore.

Who did the rebuild??

You looking to add money to a swap or get money??

I think unfortunately $25k is more realistic as there are quite a few good ones for $25k, surprising I know but the market is crazy fr sellers, a dream for me:)

Cheers

Nice stock R33 gtr with 53000klms just went on here for 21k

Any interest in swapping for a mint S2 GTST with 80000klms & cash?

Yeah, I'm looking for cash as the big thing though, so I probably wouldn't do your gtst justice. I'm only looking to spend about $12,000 on my new car, so if the gtst is mint it probably will go for more.

Hey, I will swap for a black or silver series 2 R33 gts-t. Dont care if its stock but I want cash on top, or I can take things out of what I am offering, (like the clutch or pods for example) to bring my price down. I'm seriously up for negotiating.

Just something nice & clean guys. Sunroof is a plus.

I would also swap for a: -pulsar gtir

-32 gts-t

When I bought it there was a piggy back chip installed, not to my knowledge. So with its fuel map, my lack of experience with performance cars and the car being fuelled with low ron fuels. Piston 6 was slowly eaten away due to the car running way to lean. When I took it to AVO turbo world after the rebuild, the problem was identified pretty much straight away. I was pissed off, but better to know what happened than to think 'oh well rb26's just blow up sometimes'.

The only way I found out was, one day it had a pretty bad miss so I took it to a mate who was a mechanic, they did a compression test and about 3 months and about 7k later well, you get the point.

This a genuine sale, never been crashed. I need money to pay off a loan. The engine is fine......now. AVO dissabled the chip, checked everything was safe and running ok.

Just to let you know/remind you.

I would swap for a large number of cars, just on the cheaper side cos I obviously need some cash. 180sx's, 200sx's, r32's, r33's, wrx's, evo's. That sort of thing.

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
