Bike Rack

Hey all,

Im tired of hauling my downhill bike around in my passenger seat, and just wondering what the go is with a tow ball or roof rack as there is no clear signs of how to attach one of these contraptions to my car.

Any one use a rack or have a towball fitted, how much and so on.

Plus im going to be carrying around 10g's worth of bike around. i dont want something flimsy.

had one of these for the pulsar.. I could quite easily swing off it no probs..

just thought I would throw it out there.. just seems like a smarter alturnative..

Its a very good idea,

But i think i would prefer something a bit stronger when i travel to races, 600+kms.

I just want a rack i an set and forget about.

id have to agree there...killing a great car.

plus sourcing a kit would be an absolute bitch. not exactly run of the mill

Not a road bike, its my downhill bike and hardtail.

All up around 35kilos.

Plus the weight..

You need to attach the ball attachmenty "thing" (yes.. that is the technical term for it) to the rear reo bar = custom job = $$$ + weight
