Ok, well firstly PSi stands for Performance Silvia and Imports, and its founding member originated from the nissansilvia.com forum. What happen was we wanted to hit the tracks (drifting), similar to what you guys wanted to do. We're CAMS affiliated which is important to note, with access to the liciencing thats required to participate in motorsport events such as motorkhana, sprints hill climbs etc etc. So we aren't just some backyard car club. The club is steered to more towards the performance side of things. We're having a private drift pratice day @ A.I.R, so we're looking forward to that. Also, there's a chick division within PSi itself to try and promote female drivers on our roads with imports.

Do u have any sort of way that u can monitor who actually represents the club. From what u say, u seem to have a good thing going here, but without regulating who joins, it could quick turn into shambles. I looked at the list of people planning to show their cars off and "some" of the cars dont seem to fit what u r representing. Does that me if u register on the forums, u can nominate ur care to enter (no matter what it is)? Or is there some person that says yes and no to who enters?

But on the other hand it looks like some awesome cars are involved... Looks interesting anyway. Look forward to your reply.

Originally the plan was to have the best cars from PSi out on the lawn, but then we received a lot of interest from non-members wanting to have their cars out on display too. So rather than turn these people away, we thought how can we leverage this interest so that it can work for both of us.

We then came up with the idea to turn it into a mini show and shine day. There will be a limited number of positions available, probably around 30, and all are welcome to express interest in having their car on display.

From the list of those who have expressed interest, we'll narrow it down to those we think are the best cars to display. So yes, anyone can nominate their car to enter and we encourage them to do so, but there will be a screening process involved to decide whose cars will end up on display.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
