Ok, time to let go of the beast. I've got 2 reasons for selling this car. 1- I have had a work car with fuel paid for and 2- I am buying a VAF home theatre system for the new house and the thought of having this theatre system outweighs the thought of having my car sitting in storage not getting driven.

-I rebuilt the engine in 2006 and it has done about 32,000kms since the rebuild.

  • Forged Weisco Pistons 20thou oversized.
  • The block was crack tested and acid dipped.
  • ARP Conrod bolts and shot peened rods
  • Polished and balanced crank
  • The block was bored out 20 thou
  • ARP head studs holding the head down
  • rebuilt head with new seals and hydraulic lifters. Standard cams
  • Hi-flowed Turbo good for 250rwkws with a 3 inch dump with wastegate pipe

-JIM BERRY Organic clutch (3100lbs clamping pressure) Such a good clutch, done 4,500kms.. got changed with gearbox rebuild.

-3 1/4 inch exhuast all the way through. Sounds nice but not too loud.

-The gearbox was rebuilt by Fitzgerald racing. Look them up, they havea great reputation. Expensive but worth it!

-Bilstein Shocks all round.

-Bendix Ultimate Pads

-17inch Wheels

-Rear bar (not too sure what it is, check out the pics)

-Sway bar on the front.

-Cold air box

-Pioneer Head unit with FOCAL speakers all round. 12 inch sub. Got 4 channel amp for FOCAL speakers and another powerful amp for the sub. All installed and sounds great.

-VIPER pager alarm. This has an in-built turbo timer and auto window wind up and door locking on arming your car.

Guys, I'm not that fussed if I sell this car pr not, it'd be good to get the money but I do like the car. I will sell it to the first person who wants it so send me a PM, call or sms me, or email me.

The car has done only 38thou since rebuilt and only 4,500thou on gearbox. It drives like new.

I can spot a tyre kicker a mile away so please only contact me if you are interested in the car.

I put about $7,000 of parts into the engine and another $2000 into the gearbox (Obviously spent more on labour).

The car has been in storage for the last 4 months as I just don't drive it.

The body work is in great condition. It has the typical stone chips on the front bar that a 1993 Skyline would have but nothing bad. The rest of the car is straight and paintwork is great.

    • Also seen this as an option
    • I get you, we’ll see I’m aiming for 200ish kw now and hopefully 300rwkw down the line after some upgrades maybe like headstuds, E85 flex fuel etc  so trying to make it final for that now, I can get a GTT airbox for $280 so it’s not too bad but not sure if there’s better ways to spend that money. I seen online they say pod filter which isn’t enclosed isn’t good especially for a plus T.      hard to say what to do
    • Meh. How much power can you make from a +T anyway? I wouldn't have though it would be enough to challenge the airbox. It's not as if it's tiny compared with the turbo one. As to putting a pod in a stock airbox .... it's not the filter element that would be restrictive. It would be the air inlet to the box that would be the narrow point, which you could open up regardless of what element was inside. On my R32 I opened up the sort of triangular opening in the bottom front corner of the box, deformed (heated, moulded) some 4" stormwater pipe to fit to that opening and punched a 4" hole down through the inner guard to the spot where the stock intercooler used to be. This was purely in the search for a cold intake, but you could do something similar if you need to open up the inlet side of it. The AFM tube size is the same for both NA and turbo, so the outlet from the airbox is same same anyway. If you're going to do the right thing, then an aftermarket ECU won't care about the AFM (ie, you can get rid of it). But even if it was still there, people pull >300rwkW through them all day, and I suspect you won't be going there.
    • R34 RB25de Neo by the way ^
    • Doing a +T on my car and I’ve read the precious forums lots of mixed reviews from sometime back.  checking if anyone has any ideas for airbox or enclosed pod filter or solutions?  I was thinking stock GTT box but some say it’s restrictive? I seen some people try fit in a pod in the box anyone done that recently?  not any good enclosed options ? Thanks
