Was awesome cruise! Kudos to Charmaine and friends who put the effort into the cruise! Weather was excellent and was good to see a good turnup of cars!

ps. sorry for freakin ya out at maslins! :D hahaa

Awesome cruise Charmaine, good to meet ya and also some new peeps.

So who on the 2ways said "slow down Luke is having trouble getting over speed bumps" lol

i'll give ya some money for a copy of high res pics if u like.

thanks

Hey everyone.

I just want to say thanks to everyone who came out. I had a fantastic time getting to know your cars, but not so much yourselves lol. I do believe i had a chat to a few of you but forgive me because I probably didn't catch your name lol.

Spot on Min, the weather was unbeleivably great! I honestly did not expect the weather to be that perfect - sun out - after saturdays weather. But nah was great cruise all up.

Sorry about the little mishaps along the way, for example the first stop: fk me!! i did not expect it to be THAT NARROW!!!! JEEEEEZ! LOL

So sorry about that guys. Also didnt expect every tom dick and harry to be in the carpark that followed either. But all was well as we just skipped it anyways :D

Haha that was Nene that said you were having trouble on the speed humps. They were not in the plan either :D One way street didn't help me very much when we couldn't turn down it.

And Min - Scared the sh!t outta me at first. I was watching that light post hahaha. gotta give us some heads up next time lol :D:D

But yep. Great fun for my first SAU cruise, awesome bunch of people, i got some really decent shots and now im just trying to find the time inbetween school to sort them into folders of whos car and who owns it.

Pics won't be up for a bit.

But speaking of pics - I didn't know how to approach the matter, but I'm happy to burn peoples photos onto cd's for them at the original high quality res. but that means forking out some money to buy some blank cd's. So i figured say $3 for a cd (let me know if thats not reasonable lol) and that should cover my costs of buying them(EDIT: and the MASS amount of time and effort im going to put into touching them up a lil bit with photoshop ;) and burning them all). Feel free to send me a PM and i can tell you how many shots i took of your car. All cd's will have the group shots on them as well as individual car photos.

Sorry if i didnt take many photos of YOUR car :) Cos i know i probably didnt get round to everyone - and plus my memory card filled up with 505 photos.

Cheers guys!

Keep up the good work Charmaine and look forward to the next one.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
