Transmission Probs Please Help

Hey somewhere on this site there is a topic what to look for when buying a new car (Or something like that anyway) but here is a quote on what someone said "Drive at 60km/h and listen for any unusual noises.

Accelerate to 80km/h, does the front end shake or vibrate? My car does this sometimes but wont do it under heavy acceloration ive done some reasearch on the net bought a book on repairs (Its a vl) been to a mechanic ect and my reasearch tells me it might be the clutch plate in the transmission is sliping MY farkin mechanic cant even figure it out what could this be anybody know,

Oh yea its a vl commodore the reason im postin about a vl on here and not calaistubro.com is because i get treated like a retard every time i ask a qustion.
