Please Read, Lunch At My Sister's Bubble Tea Place, Then Cruise

Recommended Posts

hey guys,

i've just sent out an invite to all those who've shown interest in having something to eat at my sister's shop then going on a nice cruise

i've had a few responses as to those who are going already which is great...

i've made up a menu for people to choose what they would like to eat so i can let my sister know so she can organise it a bit more precisely and efficiently so the food will be ready just as we get there or so we won't have to wait too long...

now the cruise will either be at 4pm or 6pm with her shop (for those who don't know, it's located in the suburb of Koondoola NOR) being the first meet point...

we will then cruise wherever, now, depending on what time most people are free will i decide the time...

now i think 6pm MIGHT be better for those that want to go to the cruise that Stef has organised for that night at Leach Highway Bunnings, so the last meet point can actually be the first meetpoint for the night cruise on that date...

BUT if more people want the cruise to be earlier i can make it 4pm...

well anyway, i've sent out at least 20 invites and if you would like to come and grab something to eat and go for a nice drive with all of us just let me know via pm your email and i will send you a menu so you can let me know what you would like to eat, in saying that...

the document is on WORD 2007 so if you have an older version just let me know and i'll just send it through email...

look forward to hearing from you guys soon!

BY THE WAY, if you all want to know where the cruise is going...

there WILL be a freeway/tunnel run and other whatevers i usually have on my cruises, still have to make the map but it will be decent i assure you...

anyway, if you're interested... let me know!

i have to get the orders in ASAP!!!

cheers,

Andrew :)

don't hate on the Freeway, Freeway is good...

we've all had our 'get pulled over on the Freeway for one thing or another and get raped one way or another' sometime in our lives, you're just lucky to have it done so soon... you still have to tell me the story though Rhys!

OKAY, i've got a few orders in already, will be good to get some more in there too! food is great and cruise will be fun!

keep the comments coming peeps!

Andrew :)

okay, at the girlfriend's house so all that asked for a menu tonight i'm sorry but i have to give it to you tomorrow morning via email...

will keep in touch and it's 6PM CRUISE i'm thinking, more than likely...

will finalise all details tomorrow, thanks peeps, keep the comments coming and if you want to come it's still possible, just pm me... cheers!

Andrew ;)

hey guys,

although my 33 is still in customs, it would be sweet to come and meet a few of you, I will be in a Nissan so does that count, just not a rine....

will the meet point be at the bubble tea at 6 or elsewhere to drive to the shop for 6? and what time is the leach hwy meet time?

Can someone please PM me along with the menu please.

cheers

Simon

OKAY EVERYONE, just a quick update on what's going on!!!

everyone that has shown interest that CAN go has been sent an email/pm with some details and a menu...

now i've got a few orders down already and just need about 8 more or so... (that's 8 drivers, not including their passengers) so if everyone could please get to me what they would like to eat and what their passengers would like to eat that would be awesome, preferably before tonight ends so i can just notify my sister and she can get it ready...

anyway, cruise details are as follows;

MEETPOINT: CEDRIC STREET CARPARK (EVERYONE KNOWS THE ONE, HEADING NORTH ON MITCHELL FREEWAY AND EXIT ON CEDRIC STREET, THEN IT'S THE FIRST LEFT INTO THE LOOPY CARPARK)

TIME: 5:20PM MEET, WE WILL LEAVE AROUND 5:40PM/5:50PM OR UNTIL EVERYONE ARRIVES (YES I HAVE NAMES OF ALL PEOPLE COMING!)

THIS CRUISE WILL GO FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND IF PEOPLE WANT TO MAKE IT TO THE NEXT CRUISE (8PM ON LEACH HIGHWAY) THEY CAN AS THIS SHOULD BE THE LAST MEETPOINT OF THE CRUISE!

now there will be a FREEWAY run, TUNNEL run and that's all i've thought of so far... i'm still finalising the map but it should be good...

basically, first meetpoint is Cedric Street and we're going straight to my sisters for some food, then we'll continue the cruise from there...

and umm... she doesn't have that many chairs and tables so some people will be sitting and eating and some people will stand and eat, the people that will sit will be the ones having soup etc....

anyway, if you haven't got your orders in yet please do!!! can't wait to catch up with all you guys...

any comments please leave them here and if you're still interested in going but haven't notified me you're more than welcome to, just put it down and i'll send you a menu etc.

cheers,

Andrew

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
    • It is the stock air box with the panel filter. Everything else is stock except the exhaust at this point, as I also went back to the cleaned 270cc injectors. I will check the RPM when the IACV is unplugged and report back.
    • As MBS suggested if this is happening when the engine is cold you're going to want to remove the intake air regulator and verify resistance + that the shutter is physically opening and closing. At -20C should be fully open, 20C half open, over 60C fully closed. At 20C should be 70-80 ohms. For AAC valve testing using a Consult cable see if you can raise and lower the idle by commanding more or less AAC duty cycle. Hopefully it's pretty linear as well, shouldn't be like 30% AAC valve is barely idling and 40% is 1500 rpm.
    • Bloody apprentices! 🙄
    • Not sure yet.  Was considering speedtek because it was rated to 800hp, but when I did some research about him I don't think I will go for that🤣 So maybe giken gear set, but I'm afraid it won't be strong enough🙄
