TheTunersGroup
VERY VERY VERY niceI think i might have to buy one in suede. Do you do better prices on forums than on your website? It's an incredible steering wheel - we got a sample of it last week from Japan and it's the nicest steering wheel I've ever seen. Our forum pricing and our website pricing is the same. We already have the lowest pricing of any retailer worldwide on this steering wheel, so unfortunately we can't go any lower for forum prices. - Adam Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/238174-works-bell-team-orange-steering-wheels-now-available-from-australian-authorised-distributor/#findComment-4164108 Share on other sites

TheTunersGroup
not cheap The Team Orange Steering wheel is not designed as a "cheap" steering wheel - the emphasis of it is on strength, the lack of flex in it, extremely high quality engineering and machining, and extremely high quality leather and suede work. It is a true hard core professional quality drift steering wheel, and exactly the same steering wheel as used by Team Orange in Japan. The price simply reflects that quality. As it says on our site at: http://www.tunersgroup.com/Online_Store/Wo...Or_Leather.html Team Orange is one of the absolute top tier professional drift teams in the world. Team Orange leader Kumakubo is the leader of the D1GP Drivers all-time score table, he won the US vs Japan All Star event and was the Japanese D1GP champion in the Team Orange Subaru Impreza GDB. The Team Orange drivers worked closely with Works Bell engineers to get this wheel designed exactly to the needs of hard core professional drifting. TRUE PROFESSIONAL QUALITY The quality of this steering wheel is way above any off the shelf wheel I have ever seen. As an example ... The Works Bell Team Orange Steering Wheel steering wheel is manufactured with incredible attention to detail in Italy for Works Bell, to Works Bell and Team Orange's specifications. Italian leather and suede work is the best in the world, so this is why this wheel is made in Italy. In typical Works Bell attention to detail, the orange marking at the stop of the wheel is not dyed into the wheel - instead a separate piece of orange leather is stitched into the wheel, so unlike lesser quality wheels from other manufacturers, even the orange stripe on the Works Bell Team Orange steering wheel is built to last ... INCREDIBLY STRONG In terms of strength of this wheel, as it says on our website ... We were at a recent drift event, and we came across an interesting problem with some steering wheels from Works Bell's competitors ... Some drivers who have been using steering wheels from other manufacturers have been having problems with their steering wheels bending due to the rigours of drift use. So we handed the Works Bell Team Orange Steering Wheel to them, and simply said to them "try to bend it !" Their reaction was that the Team Orange steering wheel simply does not bend like steering wheels from some other manufacturers do. We knew the Team Orange steering wheel was an extremely strong steering wheel, but the true test is to hand it to a hard core drifter, and let them try to bend it or break it - they couldn't do it. Quite simply, the Works Bell Team Orange Steering Wheel is designed specifically to survive the extreme environment of professional drifting. It is a stronger wheel than steering wheels sold by many of Works Bell's competitors, and as proven by our "try to break it" test, it doesn't bend out of shape when subjected to the rigours of drift use. Of course this strength also means it is a very durable wheel, which will last longer and give you a much longer service life in your car than steering wheels from many competing manufacturers. OUR PRICING Like most quality parts, you simply get what you pay for. This steering wheel is not meant for everyone, but if you are looking for an absolute top quality steering wheel, finished with incredible attention to detail, incredibly strong, and rarely seen outside of Japan, this Works Bell Team Orange Steering Wheel is what you're looking for. As it says above, "We currently have the lowest pricing on the Works Bell Team Orange Steering Wheel of any parts retailer worldwide." More details and online ordering for the Works Bell Team Orange Steering Wheel are at ... http://www.tunersgroup.com/Online_Store/Wo...Or_Leather.html ON A BUDGET ? Or if you are looking for a budget priced Works Bell Steering Wheel, Works Bell also caters to that market. For a Works Bell budget priced wheel, see the Works Bell Original Steering Wheel (shown above with the Works Bell Paddleshifter Kit) at ... http://www.tunersgroup.com/Online_Store/Wo...ring_Wheel.html And if that paddleshifter kit looks familiar to Skyline owners, that's because the MCR Matchless Crowd Racing Paddleshift Kit for Skylines is manufactured by Works Bell. This is the Works Bell Paddleshifter mechanism ... We asked Works Bell about this and they replied ... "We developed the Paddle Shifter Neo for Nissan R35 GT-R with MCR. You can tell this to the customers in Australia because MCR wrote our company name Works Bell as the maker for their Paddle Shifter in the instruction book" Works Bell has developed Paddle Shifters for many kinds of cars. You can find more info about the Works Bell Paddleshifter Kit on our site at ... http://www.tunersgroup.com/Products/Works_Bell.html As it says on that page ... The Works Bell Paddle Shifter Neo kit places specially designed paddles which control up/down shifts on the steering column as opposed to manipulating the shift lever. So you can shift gears just like an F1 car with just a 7mm stroke of the paddle to change gears ! The Paddle Shifter Kit can be used on various car models such as; Legacy, Impreza, Fit, IS, 350Z, MR-S, RX-8, etc... Works Bell are continuing to develop the paddle shifter for many other car models. - Adam Edited October 7, 2008 by TheTunersGroup Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/238174-works-bell-team-orange-steering-wheels-now-available-from-australian-authorised-distributor/#findComment-4180584 Share on other sites
