its just a few nuts to take it off.

the you can pick up rubber grommets from repco to cover up the holes.

if u want something more permanent then yeh any panel beater will be able to weld up the holes, bog it up and re-spray the boot.

I took the spoiler of Hoony's car. You have 2 bolts and a plastic clip on each leg. The bolts are easy, but the clips were a bitch. Search the cosmetics forum, and you'll find the post we made asking how to do it. In the end wegot a drill and drilled them out. Being gentle with a hammer drill isnt easy...

Fill the holes with plugs first, because it will cost around $500 to get them filled. And if you decide you dont like the look, it'll be easy to put it back on.

Good luck mate!

Julz... i still have my panel beaters number...

should cost less than will cost around $200 for welding and a few more hundred for painted your boot again...

i will get you a better price if you get serious, i wouldn't bother having the ugly plugs in the boot, makes the car look cheap i reckon...

get it welded, looks classy...

you know what i mean :bunny:

oh yeah, and after Rhys took off my plug things, not long after the boot started to rust, even with tape!!! so be careful if you choose to DIY

good luck dude

Andrew :)

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
