Im looking at quiting my job before xmas , so my car has to be sold unfortunately. the car is pretty much stock apart from a few light mods which include :

- tein front adjustable susspension / rear susspension is compressed

- pod filter

- alarm and immobiliser

- tinted windows

- full 3 inch turbo back exhaust , with a varex adjustable muffler . quiter sounding than stock and also has a unique sound when opened - with remotes.

- aftermarket rear tail lights

- 4300k hids

engine has done 78xxx kms

the car is a 1999 jdm , spec R. with all japanese extras etc. the car has been meticulously looked after , and well kept. i had a full service recently done with new tyres aswell. so the car is perfectly road worthy . paint work is immaculate , no scratches at all . im a very fussy owner , and i do try and keep it out of the wrong places , especially shopping centres.

standard features include , dual airbags , abs breaks , rear wiper , side skirts . the interior is immaculate , non smoker , no holes in seats , everything has been well kept.

i have had this car for approximately 6 months , i dont really want to sell it but iv just had enough of my job and need to get out of it , and i cant afford to keep the car if i am not working . but i am interested in trading with a cheaper car , possibly series 2 r33 - but all other cars will be considered .

note to all buyers :

the previous owner before me had the car in a small prang , nothing major - basically a headlight was changed and the front bumper - apparenlty just in a car park , so nothing major . i knew about all of this when i purchased the car and saw all receipts and had it all checked over , everything appeared to be fixed to a tee without any problems . im just stating all of this so who ever purchases knows all about this , because i know how annoying it can be when you find out things like this later - as iv experienced , so i want the sale to be honest and well known.

the car runs perfectly and has no problems , the only thing that needs to be done is have the aircon condenser changed . which i have purchased already . iv been quoted 300 to change and regass , so that isnt a major problem . other than that the car is impeccable . everything else appears to be in perfect condition. if you are interested please call or sms / pm . 0434 465 302 , thanks nathan

more pics available on request . seeking $23,000 , cash differences with trades..

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
