Hey guys. Unfortunately have to part with my beast. Here are the details:

-1991 Soarer TT

-Metallic Pearl paint

-84,000 kms

-18 inch deep dish Jap 3 piece wheels (275/35/18 on rear, 235/40/18 on front with room for more rubber! Rear treads brand new, front about 75%)

-Trust Power Extreme cat back exhaust (with two resonators- no drone but a lovely agressive note higher in the rev range)

-Biiiiigggg Strut Brace

-Choice of JIC Adjustable Height Coilovers with Solid Alloy Strut Tops or Standard dampers with King Springs. (JIC stuff is stiff and noisy but makes the car handle extremely well- up there with my old R33)

-Greddy Profec Boost Controller

-Greddy Turbo Timer

-Top of the line Clarion head unit with Dolby Prologic II and double flip out fascia

-Blitz Racing Boost guage

-Pimp tint on rear and rear quarter glass

-HKS Air Filter

-Project Mu Race Brake pads at 50% (This thing honestly stops better than my old R33!!! A little squealy but combined with the ABS makes an awesome braking system)

-Serviced with Mobil 1 oil, major service carried out one and a half months ago.

-Usual Soarer gear- fully electic driver seat (lumbar, under-thigh recline, rear seat tilt access) electric passenger seat, climate control air conditioning, tilt&reach steering wheel adjustment, holographic dash, trip computer, etc...

Optional: Hiro Motorsports front lip (came with the car, in pics the lip is just sitting on) Can also get my hands on some bodykits etc...

Very sorry to see it go. Every person who sees it loves it. Goes really hard (kept up with a GT28 equipped SR20 180sx) Stops even harder, handles unlike any other Soarer I have driven (with the JIC's), is a pimpmobile with a sting in the tail. Having a baby so I must get a four door car.

Looking for $20,000 o.n.o... Contact me at [email protected] or call me on 0419 529 586. Cheers guys.

Hey! Cheers man!

*slips Phat $50 bill*

No really, it is a good ride peoples. Very quick, awesome looks and all the luxury you need. Quicker than a Monaro, handles better and I personally think it looks better. And it is wayyyy cheaper!!!

:)

stops better than your old r33 eh :P re he heeeeally... i dunno... :) but since i can vouch of the quality of your cars as i now own said r33 im sure this car wont dissapoint!

its just too bad im too tall for a soarer.. oh and i love the line too much :P

free bump!

Err, the pimp comes from everyone else lol. Like 'Man, that's pimp!!!' or 'Cool, your Soarer is so pimp!!!'...

Okay, okay, I am a wannabe pimp daddy. No, really, it looks a lot more impressive in the flesh. Very suave.

Arkad... yeah man the car does stop quicker than the 'line. I did not believe it was possible either. But stock pads vs Project Mu makes a huge difference. The rotors and calipers on the TT are not small....

But maybe it is just the G-force from the weight. I dunno. Seems to stop better to me...

*Sniff* it's true...

So maybe I am not a pimp... but the car sure is...

    • Old Son, did you re-use the Holden ABS in the new shell or try a different module?
    • Yeah, nah. I had the actuator rod off it today. The arm will not move at all. Neither out, nor in. Yeah, you'd think so, but I've been thinking about that. Even when the actuator rod fell all the way off at the beginning of this saga, it would build more boost and faster in lower gears than it would in higher gears, and you'd think that that was the opposite of what should happen. But I strongly suspect that there is a thing with the gearing getting the revs to rise faster, that there must be some transient effect with the gas flow rate rising quickly, that you don't get with the more steady state case of the higher gears. Keep in mind - the gate is not shut in either of my weirdnesses. So things are not "normal". We normally think about a turbo spooling up (below the wastegate target) with the gate shut. I have all sorts of mental models running now where the gate is a little bit open, and having it stuck open allowing gas out while it should be going through the turbine has all sorts of weird effects (in these mental models). I'm thinking in the higher gears, the ex mani pressure builds to the point where enough gases spill out the wastegate to just prevent the pressure rising much more at all, or just creeping up, all the whole the revs are increasing and getting closer to the point where a gear shift becomes necessary.
    • Is it possibly wastegate actuator itself is sticking, or even the rod to flapper? Otherwise I reckon things are getting a bit rusty/worn   Also odd it won't boost in 3rd to 5th, but will in 1st, I'd expect the other way around with it slightly open as there's more time on your way to redline for it to spin up
    • Does anyone know ow what these two plugs are for and if they should be unplugged? Just put the dash back together and can't remember if these were plugged in before or unplugged! (Blue and white plugs) 🤦🏽‍♂️
    • Did some FASTing ...got the impression that the actual part# was a moot point ; seems all of these hardlines for coolant are discontinued/NLA... like, I take it you're after the hardline that bolts onto to the manifold...that's NLA according to amayama & nengun .... ...just to clear up some confusion, they typically mounted the AAC valve to the intake manifold somewhere near a coolant passage, so the body of the valve heats up & holds it open when engine's up to temp - no coolant flows through the valve, it's a mechanical, thermal connection.
