just wondering if your coilpacks are messing up would one of the symptoms be car finding it harder to get into the higher rpm range cause this has happend to me slightly latly or is this just cause the weather is f**king hot haha thanks

My coils just went and the symptom was misfiring under high boost. The car would rev to red line under low boost (10 psi), but anything over 12 psi and it would misfire like a machine gun. New coils fixed the problem and its running better than ever.

As i understand it, the coils degrade over time and start misfiring at progressively lower boost pressures as they wear.
