C210 L24 Extractors

Just bought some extractors for the mighty L24 and was hopefully after some pics/descriptions of what people did with the EGR system and where the inlet and exhaust manifolds bolt together. I was thinking maybe making an alloy plate and gasket gooping it to the bottom of the intake manifold??? Anyway as I said would appreciate some input.

The exhaust manifold is held together to the intake manifold via 4 bolts on on the intake side, going into the exhaust manifold

my understanding, the two manifolds are separate, ie, you don't need to add anything to the bottom of the intake manifold

as for the EGR stuff, just block it off.
