Replacing S1 Auto Shifter

i just got a 2nd hand S1 factory auto shifter assembly to replace my '97 dayz edition one

my auto gear stick is about to break-tightened the 2 screws on shaft but no luck-its broken inside

the dayz gearstick is different to factory one

will it be fairly simple for me to replace it?

bought it from SAU member-KiwiRS4T [bob] he was really easy to deal with-top bloke

he sent me a written tut but i just want to get other peoples input as well

should be bolt on, imagine the only differences would be cosmetic, you may have to remove the shaft and get the broken screws taken out and re-tapped ?
