It's hard to stop at one hey?

I will possibly have a very tidy silver 96 R33 S2 GTS-T for sale in the near future, haven't quite decided whether to sell it yet. It's an auto though, so may not be what you're looking for.

Drop me a PM if interested........

How about a white beauty? We've got a series 2 1997 33 GTS-T for $13,900. Turbo-back exhaust, wheels, see our website for more details. We're in Melbourne by the way.

Good luck regardless!

Cheers,

David @ Carizma

always interested in a skyline lol send me some pics and a price?

this is the perfect opportunity to buy an R32 instead

lol find me a 1997 model r32 and we'll see... oh wait they dont exist lol

yeah its just if its too old it will cost too much to insure.. but i do like them

but the r33 just does it for me i guess

Heya,

Just something ive had to learn the hard hard way, it is best to fianance the first couple of insurance payments or an alarm at the very least if the car u decide to purchase doesnt have one. I hit a roo with my r32 only a week before i was to put insurance on it. Same for my Silvia, only a week before i was to put a alarm in (after owning it for 3 weeks) it got stolen.

thought it was implied! we're a car dealer mate, we have no shame! haha.

Normally we just discount the $900 off the price, but since you're from SAU, if you're interested, send us a PM and we can give you our bottom price.

cheers,

David @ Carizma

You forgot to say "Shameless business plug" :)

good luck mate, by the way if your interested i have a 95 R33 GTS-T (silver) im selling for roughly $11,500 or any close offer. it has turbo timer, boost control, decent sound system, exhaust system plus other extras :D , let me know if you wanna come and have a look.

cheers for that. Yeah, it's a good ride, full stainless steel exhaust, air pod, suspension, turbo timer, good quality mods, too, not the cheapo stuff. Just looking for a nice home. We're doing mainly 34's and v35's lately, so we probably won't get many 33's in the future.

We've been in the business 12 years, but are based in Melbourne so obviously don't hang out on the ACT forum much. We're on the importing and VIC ones a lot though.

Nice website you have there, good looking and easy to use... :D

The white R33 in the "current stock" page looks neat too.

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
