Where's my boost gone??

my car used to boost at 10psi@5000 with the help of a air pod and full turbo back exhaust no boost controller or anything. Since having the head repaired due to a botched easy out attempt it came back boosting only 8.5psi@5000. I then installed a front mount intercooler and its now boosting at 7psi all the way through the rev range. Any one got any idea where my boost has gone?

I would be taking the car back to where you got the head repaired.

nah im taking my car back there he gives me the shits and his is really slow it will take him 3 weeks to open the bonnet

Not to fear it was just a totally perished out vaccum line should have really of noticed it
