If you ever did that to a caterham, i would kill you.

We used to have a genuine Lotus 7, dads been on the search for a caterham though

Genuine lotus 7 i wouldnt but I don't see the harm in putting one in a caterham. No different than putting an SR, 4AGE or F20c in it.

Would go well in a caterham or a radical or something small and light like that. Would still haul arse in an s13 aswell lmao.

yep 400hp in a s13 goes quite nicely! Though i just read the reccomend a rebuild every 30 hours? screw that

Lost that SR Love? :D

Never! but V8s with ITBs are sex, and when was the last time you saw a v8 s13?! It would be an interesting project. Perhaps you need one for your mower?

afternoon ;)

afternoon :D

hey mang, coming out tonight?

Hahahahaha, I like your thinking. Might be a plan if the turbo option doesnt work out

Ive still got the SR turbo here if you think the mower could push it!

FYI caterham is made under license from Lotus.

Technicaly speaking a caterham is a Lotus...

But a real lotus 7 hasn't been produced since what, the 60s? Early 70s maybe? It would be a genuince classic

caterhams are a dime a dozen (figuratively speaking ), and they put any of about 100 engines in them from factory anyway.

Kinda like 32s. They are everywhere, everyone hates them, not worth a penny. But 31s: they are classics. Something special. Everyone loves them. Worth a fortune. Etc. :D

Caterhams aren’t, PRB’s and Westfield replicals are everywhere.

A current Caterham is still a $100k car..

a 70's - 80's Caterham will bring anything from $30k - $70k

    • I have been wondering if this is as simple as a voltage issue with the battery. Even on a charger, I can’t seem to get it over 11.8V on the terminals.    Unless the alternator has failed as well, that wouldn’t cause it to die in the middle of driving though.
    • I’ll give this a shot next time I’m able to wrench on it.    I was able to get my hands on a Haltech Nexus, so that should help with some of the more bizarre troubleshooting. Make sure the CAS is actually sending signal and will be able to set the proper dwell on the R35 coils.    I’ve checked power/grounds/signals at the CAS, ignitor, and plugs and it was all there. Granted this was static with ignition on, not cranking.    I also plan on swapping out the fuel filter and throwing on a fuel pressure gauge at the rail just to confirm I’m getting the correct pressure at the rail. 43psi if I recall correctly.

    • Hello, sorry for being late to join the discussion, but my clock just died on me.   Ive tried to look at Michaels digital clock repair.docx and it doesnt work maybe the file has expired.   Please let me know if you can re upload it or take some youtube videos to show us how to get the clock installed? thanks
