Are you sure you're playing the right game? Resident evil 5 is like resident evil 4. it's nothing at all like 1 & 2, code veronica etc etc etc. You can't even run and gun in this. Oh yeah there are "zombies" (not even really zombies) coming towards me and i can't run at them with my machete i have to stand there like a dumb flamin mongrel and hack in mid air until they get to me....... FAIL :P

No puzzles either. Oh wait yes there is that dumb mirror 'puzzle' that took me about a whole 15 seconds to do. It wasn't even "scary." This game and capcom suck dick

i only played RE5 for like 5 minutes... as soon as i got to a scene where i had to fight zombies and realised you cant run or move at all while using a gun i turned it off and put COD5 back on.

I was a bit disappointed myself. I'm a huge Res fan and had them all on PS2. Since upgrading to the PS3 I bought Res5 and It's just a basic 3rd person shooter. Yeah Chris and Jill were back but where's the creepy old mansions at night with lightning and The moaning zombies you can't see cause of the fixed camera ? As has been said the puzzles were pathetic compared to old RE games. As a random 3rd Shooter 7/10 but for a resident evil game 3/10

....If only the PS3 was backwards compatible

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
