Thanks B3CKS appreciated!

Life took a sharp detour of late and things just havnt been able to be put together until now. Financially i had to push back fitting the kit but here now it's set to go on.

Next week it goes in for fitting of the kit and paint matching to the existing grey. I was looking to respray but that'll have to wait for now. This sunday i'll get the front bar off and refit the washer bottle before it goes away, and relocate the horns as theyre poorly placed from the FMIC fit up.

In the mean time i've fitted a Greddy BOV to the existing location on the factory crossover pipe. See DIY section if your interested.

Ive fitted the FMIC from just jap (cooling pro type 1 i think) in prep for the kit, but also as a small performance improvement. There's a thread under forced induction section showing the hows, but here's the end result.

Going back a lil further i also had to fit a set of ngk iridiums and jjr coil packs. Running much better now, no complaints for sure.

Ok some progress pics. The front bar first. It was real bashed around by transport from overseas or wherever it came from. Cracks, chips, n scuffs but none the less intact. I dont think it'll last long at all but we'll see what happens. Here's it fitted up.

The rear bar so far looks too skirty for my liking and really boxed off the ass alot, but until the sideskirts are on im hesitant to judge. I'll give it time once its painted and see how it stays in my eyes, but chances are im going to end up getting it removed and modified to remove the skirt in favour of something a litlle less in ya face.

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
