Dry Cell

Iv got a car battery charger i bought a while ago and it works fine with a normal battery but when i try to charge my dry cell the light on the charger wont come on. Iv tried the charger with two of my other dry cell batterys and it does the same thing. Do i need a dry cell charger

Any help would be great

Never heard of a dry cell battery charger before, is the charger you have one of those fast charging high amp ones?

Pretty sure you have to get a charger that is compatable with gel or dry cell batteries, i just went to Sprints and got one for around $150 that does both dry and wet cell batteries

Now that I think about it, my mums electric wheel chair runs drycell batteries, and it's recharger recharges in "pulses" which are pretty loud

Bought it about 2years ago for $150. Guess it's more expensive now
