1996 Legnum VR4 Type S

5-speed MANUAL

125,xxxkms

This VR4 is a comfortable, safe and suprisingly quick drive, featuring AYC, ABS and AWD coupled to a 2.5L V6 Twin-turbo engine.

It has quite a rare combination of manual transmission, electric sunroof, leather interior and a non-white paint job!

Both myself AND the previous owner chose Tech///Sport to meticulously service and maintain this wagon. Has just received its 125,000km service. Engine is mechanically sound, as is the driveline and electrics (windows, mirrors, sunroof, A/C, etc)

No previous accident history here or in Japan. Front bumper has very minor scratches.

Interior leather is in excellent condition. Drivers seat has minor wear showing on the edge but its nothing major (no tears, etc).

Extras include huge, fully retractable sunroof, tinted rear windows, coilover suspension, Blitz Nur-spec cat-back exhaust (silencer included), Heavy duty clutch, Sony CD/Aux-in headunit, rest of the car is stock.

PRICE: $14,250 NEGOTIABLE

Reg expires Feb 2010

If i was in the market for a wagon, this would be it.

This has to be one of there rarest combination's around (Purple, Leather & Manual).

Totally agree. At this moment on carsales, there are 53 Legnums for sale. Of that only 18 are manual and of that, only 4 are not white/silver. Of those 4 only 2 have leather and of those 2, this is the only one with a sunroof.

Its a bit of a regretful sale. I originally got this as a family wagon but I now don't require a family wagon and can't justify having a VR4 and an R33 (as well as the missus' Camry).

I just reduced the price to $13,500 (negotiable of course) as I would like to sell this as soon as possible. Has rego until the end of Feb. RWC will be provided when required, etc.

    • Thanks mate. I just got the post inspection 1/2 done from state roads when the starter motor packed up, either that or the car alarm system is having trouble.  OEM part number 23300-AA112.
    • Hi, I though I was coming to an end in finding a replacement starter motor for a rb25de neo. I came across a starter motor from Taarks and a message below stating: Direct fit. 11 Tooth count. All below part numbers have been superseded to 11 teeth. Can some body shed some light on going from 8 teeth to 11 teeth apart from 36-month / 25,000 km warranty for passenger vehicles to 12 Month Warranty. Compatible with the following Nissan part numbers: 23300-20P00 23300-20P01 23300-20P05 23300-20P10 23300-20P11 23300-AA111 23300-AA112 23300-AA300 23300-08U10 23300-08U11 23300-08U15
    • Low battery? Maybe check capacity? I know first-hand, on BMWs if your battery drops below 80% capacity, it starts causing strange issues.
    • 8.5 +37 = should fit rear, but I think it'll hit on front. What you want is low 30s/high 20's front, mid 30's rear. That 17" screenshot you posted looks good, I'd run it on my R32 (but that's long dead now). For tyre sizes, my rule of thumb is: 8': 235, 9": 255. But that's just my opinion. Nismo sizes: 18x8.5+35/18x9.5+38 is a good starting point.
    • Genuine is best. I have to replace my SIL's Audi A3 DRL module because the $20 alibaba special one has faded within a month... Sigh...
