Hey guys,

I installed the CF Z-Tube and JWT Pop Charger on Friday night but have a small issue.

After the install I noticed that the engine light on the dashboard now stays on permanently, does anyone know why? I had a look at the engine bay again and all seems to be in order so I'm not sure why. :P

By the way, it is very true about the noise of the engine at 4,000+ revs, it is amazing!!! (Still with the stock exhaust)

Did u reconnect the AFM? or did u start the car without the AFM connected and then reconnected it?

It happened to me...but after a few hundred kms, it went away...Suggest resetting your ECU for a quik resolution...

Yes I did start it without reconnecting the AFM at one stage. I will wait a while then, or might even reset the ECU.

Thanks Nelson.

Don't worry too much about it, the light will go away after a while.

If you are impatient, then just clear the error codes

Hey guys, thank you for that, nothing to worry about then.

I'm currently in Sydney and not driving the car anyway so I might just let it go away on its own.

An ECU reset might be a good idea after the mods anyway like Sam said.

Thanks again.

    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.

    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
