How To Clear Service/pit Light On Y34 Gloria

I've been driving around for months with the 'Pit' light coming on every time I started the car. I tried plugging a VG Plus scan tool in, but that was no good. Had a method that involved throttle depressions in a timed sequence, but could never get it right. While fiddling with buttons and menus today, I found it.

Sorry, no pictures. I'm not good at that. Print this out and go to your car.

Ignition on, press 'Mode' button.

Go to 3rd menu down & press select

In this menu there are 3 bar graphs. Below those there is a long button on the RH side. Hit that.

The next screen is your service interval screen.

Go to the top bar graph (with the blue section in it) and hit select. This will clear the blue section off the graph

You can also change your service interval with the button below

Go to the previous screen with the 3 bar graphs and click on each of their buttons. The blue sections will disappear and your 'Pit' light will be gone!!
