sorry not about skylines but just though id share this with you guys.

pure example of why bikers die from dick heads on the road.

went on a small ride with about 6 mates on australia day, we cruised up to the beach. on our way home we were cruising down salisbury highway (in sa) we were doing the speed limit and there was four of us at this time as the other two made there way home. there was a guy pulled up on the side of the road as we rode past he pulled out and was driving behind us. All four of us took up both lanes this guy was up our ass for no reason like full on tailgating he starts flashing his high beams and everything. then without any thought he pushes his way through a samll gap between my mates missing side swiping them by bare centimetres. then we start flashing him and beeping at him. then this geek starts slaming on his brakes trying to get us to run up his ass starts flicking his cigs at us then throws a full 1.25 litre bottle of water at us missing my front wheel by inches (if i hit it i wouldve been laters). then starts swerving as if to knock us off our bike from the start of salisbury highway to the main interection. hes constantly breaking and swerving then we get to light i jump off my bike ready to rip him out his car, he pulls out a club lock tried knock with it through his window other mates boots his window i spit on him trying to get him out so i can knocj the shit out of him. then he tries to reverse over us. light turns green so we spped out of there hes in front chucks his car in reverse and tried to knock us. we speed through traffic at like 100 weaving in and out, i dont know how but he did caught up to me i didnt see him he fully cut me off and missed my front tyre by like 4 centimetres he slams on his breaks and break and swerve to the other lane he starts swerving and breaking i couldnt get past him, some lady pulls up and shows me her phone as to call the cops on me probably. so i go around her and he trys catching up but i totally flexed it out of there. i swear i was shaking like hell cos he just missed hitting me when he cut me off. just an example of a dick head on the road. you might have a go at me for retaliating but if he didint have his doors locked i wouldve ripped that fag out the car and gave him a good hit or two or 5. we did nothing wrong from the start only until he nerly side swiped us for no reason. from now on i might have to carry an extender batten on my bike

MY PET HATE = when people blatantly ignore the road rules. "Keep left unless overtaking". Even when it isnt signposted every km (ie freeway) it is still a general traffic rule.

You would have seen this guy comming up behind you, wanting to overtake.

and if we werent on the left hand side still doesnt mean you go to push through nearly clipping two guys do ya!!!!!!!!! and if you wanna start talkin about road rules why did he need to speed and what about all the other 100 road rules he broke. come on man think a bit!!!!!!!!!

if you want to be a self appointed vigilante for the road rules and 'teach people a lesson', then be prepared for a bit of backlash when you go to enforce your new found cause.

otherwise, sit back and let the wankers go.

he just had a shit lil swift

ROFL, sorry, but that is really funny, caught on a bike, in traffic by a swift, I am still laughing. that must have been one fully sick swift.

Anyways, I do think that as Pawley suggests, its pretty rude to hog the road, and I do believe its illegal too???? one of my pet hates.

If I am in the right lane, I do keep a good eye on traffic coming up and move over if I am in their way - probably because it sh1ts me sooo much when people dont move over.

BUT, I dont think it is any excuse at all for road rage - people think they have a god given right to be on the road - I dont blame him for flashing lights or hitting the horn to pass (cos I would do that if someone was hogging the road:p) but if people want to hog the road, its not my job to sort them out. I reckon that people that think they own the road will always tell you what a great driver they are and how crap everyone else is - they seem to forget they are human too and make mistakes (still hate people hogging the right lane though:p)

Next time, although you may be in the right, try just pulling over and keeping out of the idiots way, cos being right wont help you when you are in a hospital with many broken bones and possibly crippled for life. Bikes dont offer much protection, it is hard enough staying out of the way of cars that dont see you without getting them to come gunning for you. It sucks I know, but it really is easier to let dicks like that be on their way, without revving up their little pea brains.

If you are on a bike, remeber you have a perfect weapon with you. A bike helmet, if you hold on to the chinstrap close to the where it attaches, well would be ideal for self defence. Also, as it is a helmet, you can take it off to talk to someone, then if you were to use it, its a 'reflex' action, not a premeditated action like picking up a baton or a club steering lock;)

Anyways dude, glad to here no one got hurt.

Oh and vendetta, he may be braking rules, but who knows the next time you block the way of a speeding car, it may be a doctor on an emergency call, or someone going to be by the side of a dying bike crash victim? I really do think if you want to start enforcing the road traffic act, you should become a cop:D

just as the saying goes

just cause someone else is a dickhead dont you be one to.

could of caused something more serious like run over a kid just cause some guy was a wanka.

dont see why you would put yourself at risk just because of someone else.

i personally would of just pulled over called the cops let the dick pass and enjoy the rest fo your day

    • sold listed as a Tomei LSD 1.5 Way For 1998+ Nissan Skyline ER34 25GT RB25DE w/Open R200 https://www.ebay.com/itm/174006114594?campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms=&campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=71883f2ccc571356e0a757bc7adfdde2&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms= it went in like butter all gears, alignment, back lash etc, rotation and clearances correct, and if rolling all rotates smooth and free when coasting down road , clutch in or out over 10 mph smooth... its the binding, clunking and jerking from a stop that is most concerning, also seems like its going to tear the tires off in 10 miles of normal road driving.
    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
