Dirty Aussie Car (thats Actually Quite Clean)

Recommended Posts

Are you in need of a large 5 seater aussie car for all of you towing and hauling needs? look no further :shades:

i have for sale, a 1999 holden VT commodore acclaim.

has all the good stuff like 4 airbags, traction control (can be turned on or off) and abs if safety is your thing.

got the typical bogan gear on it. runs a 2 1/4" catback running into dual tips and kings super low springs.

has 2 new tires up front, and rears are on the wear markers. does come with 17" bob jane specials, has a bit of dish hahaha

currently running a pioneer headunit, sony 2 way front and kenwood 4 way rears.

also has a few other things like calias style taillights and factory green dash background.

clean and looked after inside/out

other things:

159,000kms (majority highway k's)

rego till dec

location: Mildura, Vic (4 hours from Adelaide, 5 from Melbourne)

Looking for $5,500 as is (will come with standard springs, exhuast)

will consider offers, lower price for - parts and will do swaps for a import +/- cash your way.

need cash for a smaller car, uni expenses.

cheers.

    • My happiness was short lived.  The car has a violently rough idle. If I get the revs up it runs really nicely albeit with some very small misses occasionally. I have checked and double checked all my connections and vacuum lines. I've even replaced some unrelated vacuum lines to to and find the problem.  The codes are all over the place. Throttle position, throttle vacuum, o2 sensor 1, o2 sensor 2, occasional misfire code. Makes me think a wire has been broken or something isn't clipped in properly but there's so little around where I was working to miss plugging in or to break. Super weird.  It's only at warm idle. Cold start is beautiful until the revs drop below 850 - 900 rpm then all hell breaks loose.

    • Im doing an rb30det at the moment and wanted to make a drilling guide to hold it all straight and in the right place.  If you are doing an rb30det and are a little confused on the location of the top tensioner bolt then you can use this to help you out. its an stl and it will 3d print on your printer, The hole in the middle is 8.5mm which is the perfect taping size for a 10 x 1.5 mm tap       v2.stl
