Are you in need of a large 5 seater aussie car for all of you towing and hauling needs? look no further :shades:

i have for sale, a 1999 holden VT commodore acclaim.

has all the good stuff like 4 airbags, traction control (can be turned on or off) and abs if safety is your thing.

got the typical bogan gear on it. runs a 2 1/4" catback running into dual tips and kings super low springs.

has 2 new tires up front, and rears are on the wear markers. does come with 17" bob jane specials, has a bit of dish hahaha

currently running a pioneer headunit, sony 2 way front and kenwood 4 way rears.

also has a few other things like calias style taillights and factory green dash background.

clean and looked after inside/out

other things:

159,000kms (majority highway k's)

rego till dec

location: Mildura, Vic (4 hours from Adelaide, 5 from Melbourne)

Looking for $5,500 as is (will come with standard springs, exhuast)

will consider offers, lower price for - parts and will do swaps for a import +/- cash your way.

need cash for a smaller car, uni expenses.

cheers.

I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
