Craved
which glass? anyway - front/rear screen : cant do anything without pulling the windows rear 1/4 windows : cant do anything without pulling the windows outside of door window seal: one screw at the back of the door, easier to remove with the mirrors off from memory inside window rubbers : remove the garnish between door jam and rear 1/4, then just pop the little plugs out and remove inside door: pop the plugs at each end then stretch the rubber over the pointy studs that are stuck into the door Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/337239-how-to-take-off-the-rubberplastic-seal-around-the-outside-of-the-doors-and-glass/#findComment-5454230 Share on other sites
PM-R33
So if you wanted to take your car into a windscreen mob, is it an easy job to replace the rear window rubber seals with new ones? My front one is new and looks great but it makes the rear one look like crap. Craved
So if you wanted to take your car into a windscreen mob, is it an easy job to replace the rear window rubber seals with new ones? easy yes (i used BA falcon generic rubber) - but obriens etc dont cover your screen - so if they break it, you gotta pay for a new one Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/337239-how-to-take-off-the-rubberplastic-seal-around-the-outside-of-the-doors-and-glass/#findComment-5454273 Share on other sites
PM-R33
Well that sucks. I'm guessing it's the same deal with the side ones? My car had the weather shields on it when I bought it and when I took them off it made a lot of damage on the rubber, pisses me off every time I look at it (for 5 years now lol).
