Hey guys,

Couple of nights ago, i realised my driver side headlight was out, and as far as im aware, theyre not a cheap kit so i was pretty supprised.

So anyway, when i got to a set of traffic lights i played with the headlight switch a little, turned them off and on a few times and about the third time it came back on.

Now usually to start with it wont come on but eventually if i play with the switch long enough it will go on and it will stay on.

Ive been over all the connections to check for something loose but it all seems normal and doesnt seem to be the problem pinch.gif

Just want to know if anyone else has experienced this with their headlights before, and what the solution was?

Ey Joe,

Has a similar problem once, one headlight wouldn't turn on, but turning them on and off would sometimes get it to come back on, then the other light did the same thing, ended up getting new globes, problem solved.

pull apart the headlight switch (attached to the indicator stalk), sounds like you might have some corroded contacts in it.

it's fairly common.

Yea my mate suggested that, but it wasnt, i moved the connections closer while i was there anyway.

But it turned out to be the ballast that has gone :(

I figured it was broken anyway and started digging at the silicone to try fix it. I soon realised it was NOT gonna work haha.

However, i filled it back up with silicone and put the plate back on and its now less temprimental but still not reliable.

New HID kit it is :(

    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
