Hi guys,

Am thinking about slowly getting some ICE in my R34 GT-t. Currently still have the jap unit, which is ok as it has a 3.5mm line in (so I simply plug ipod/phone in) but is a pain for short trips. The radio does not work so well, really static-y, so is a pain.

Am thinking about picking one of the above 2 units second hand, both are around the $400 mark and around a couple of years old, is this a fair price?

What I would like it to do:

- play ipod, cd, radio

- play mp3 from usb

- play dvd/divx

- hook it up to front splits, rears and 12' sub (through 4 channel amp) --this will be done in next few months

I believe both the above will satisfy my requirements, but is one technically better than the other?

Clarion is more dependable IMO. and sounds better
