As topic states, up for sale is my 07 VW Golf Gti MKV

Condition wise, the car is perfect. Exterior is fantastic with no scratches or dents

Interior is as new, completely unmarked.

It's a manual and completely standard

Car has 91XXX kms on the clock.

Great family car with five star ancap safety rating

Some of the standard features are, and I am sure I will forget a lot:

Leather seats - $5k option

300kmh speedo - love the look of it. haven't quite tested how close to 300 I can get yet.

Heated front seats - great in winter at the moment

Automatic head lamps

Automatic windscreen wipers

Electric anti glare rear mirror - funky feature, it electrically tints itself if somebody is shining high beams into your rear view

Electric windows all round

Electric mirrors

Traction control

Electronic stability control

10 speaker stereo

6 stacker CD player

Tyre pressure sensors

Airbags - Driver & Passenger (Dual)

Head For 1St Row Seats (Front)

Head For 2Nd Row Seats

Side For 1St Row Occupants (Front)

Remote central locking

Remote window open or close

I am sure there are tons of other features that I have forgotten, but you can google them as there is plenty of info on the car.

Overall the car is by far the best I have ever owned, and the only reason for sale is that it is too small.

It was initially purchased as a family car, as me and my wife were planning on starting a family, but as it turns out we had twins, and there is just not enough space now that we have to shove a twin sized pram in there, and have two baby seats in the back.

Attached is a photo of the boot, with the pram in there.

Bellow are the exterior shots of the car.

I have also attached interior shots of an identical car, but they are not the actual shots. Will get some interior shots in the next couple of days and put them up instead.

I am asking for $27000, but am open to trades for a larger car, as the only reason for the sale is to get something bigger.

Trade wise looking at the following:

Car must be automatic

2000 or newer

Low K's

Wagon, or have a huge boot to fit the damn pram.

Cars that we are interested in in particular are: M35 Staega, X Trail, Forester, Outlander or similar. I am not interested in anything overly modified as the new car will be used by my wife to drive the kids around. Happy for trades with cash either way, but not looking to put more than 5k on top of the golf, so no need to offer new landcruisers or such.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
