I thought I would share one of my old projects. In the search for my braking power, I decided to bolt up some 300mm discs to my Telstar. (yeah yeah, get over it :nyaanyaa: )

I tried fiddling with R32/R33 GTS-t stuff, but I didn't want to cut mounting tabs off the calipers or cut into the knuckles. After searching the DBA catalogue, Integra Type S discs seemed like a good choice as they were close to being identical except for the increase in diameter as seen below.

I decided to make up a dogbone bracket to mount the standard caliper bracket, so made a template out of 19mm thick wood to make sure my measurements were right. After I had it all sorted, I then machined it up at work and turned up some stainless steel sleeves. Then the brackets were treated to a light bead blasting.

They've been on about 3 different cars I've owned over the past 4/5 years and have worked flawlessly.

They now have a pair of RS Liberty twin piston sliders in the standard brackets. with Goodridge braded lines.

They are soon to be replaced with EVO 6 discs and calipers front and rear
