i am selling my rona wagon

shes an 1985 Csi SR model

5 speed manual (still fair tight)

I'm only the second owner since 85 and ive only owned this bad girl for 2 months

its the 22RE pretty damn clean too

small rust hole in the front RHS quarter

small dent in the tailgate from the oldie before me

brand new tires about 1500-2000km old

appears to be a reasonably new exhaust from cat back... but standard grandpa spec

has new clutch master and clutch itself is still pretty good (grabs for miles on the pedal)

pretty gusty for a standard 22RE

is currently not running due to the fuel pump... can fix it before sale just can't be bothered working on the corona till my skyline is done

i have a set of celica meshies..cheapos with rushed paint job look good enough though (shown in pics on the front)

$1500ono or swaps for something of interest

    • I'm not a drag racing guy, but that was a good watch. Didn't Ibrahim's car have some cooch! But the big question is....WTF is with so many of them running without seatbelts!
    • Sequential Is fine to drive on the street
    • Well that is not a sign of good quality..  Understand, but not so nice to drive on the street I suppose and out of my price range..
    • I recently got myself a 1989 r32 GT-R and it has some slight smokiness from the exhaust and misfires sometimes when coming off the throttle. I'm looking for a good mechanic in the Brisbane region who will do a good job on it. It'll need a diagnosis, and most likely an engine rebuild with refurb/stock parts (not looking for a motorsport build... yet). If anyone has done something like this before/knows stuff about this in terms of who can do it and how much it cost, I'd like to hear about it. I was looking on the forum and I found some posts from 2020 that were similar to this, but it has been a while since then so if anyone has any updated info that would be great.  I'm also new to the forum so if this topic should be in a different place please let me know. Thanks in advance!
    • Stretching my memory now but about 10,000kms. After that I had a hissy fit. In went in a OS88 sequential then a PPG sequential. The extra gear is a game changer.
