Hi mate

I just got my R33 GTR about 3 days ago, and i noticed a couple of things, Coming from a GTST, I was woundering what the A-LSD light of the RPM gauge does??????

I also notice that when ever i take a hard corner that the front wheel torque split gauge moves and i can feel the front wheels grippin, is this normal??? The car only has 13950 km's on the speedo.

Next what does the little motor on the rear lower part of the car does??? The motor is across from the muffler.

Over all the car is way better that a gtst. I've always woundered if it's really worth the money and yes its more than worth the money. Does anyone know where i can find some info on how the 4WD system works on the GTR.

Thanks again mate.

Do you have log book for those k's?

The torque gauge tells you when the front wheels are being used. Seeing as its a rwd car with front wheel drive every now and then.

Alsd, is yours a vspec? I'm pretty sure it only comes on when it's broken. I've only seen mine on at acc and when I put it in rwd.

This motor you speak of, I have no idea.

Yes mate the motor looks like a little wiper motor. I was thinking that it may be for the A-LSD. Yes Nose LTD. sent me the log book for the car from what i can make out, the car had 2 owners in the pass the first took it to 8000 km's and the second to 12300, and now i took it to 13950km's I've been reading up on the 4wd system here on sau. I didn't know that i need to run the same rim and tyre size. Now what about the width if the wheels.?? Can i use like 11's ine the rear and 10's in the front, but all in the same size rims like 18's.

please if there is anything that i need to know about the car please do tell, and thanks agian mate.

mate you need to keep reading and searching on here, you will find all the info you need and more.....

that little motor you speak of could be for your A-LSD of could be your ATTESSA pump ? and you can run different width tyres but they need to be the same rolling diameter, so it is easier to just run the same size rims and tyres all round ..

and 13000km's on a 15 year old car :rofl2:

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
