Slightly off topic but there is a kid with a 450rwkw R33 GTST with rb26 single turbo driving it around on P-plates in Newcastle.

I have an S15 Spec S (which I cant drive yet cause of turbo) but would be cool to organise an SAU Newcastle meetup for a cruise.

33 owners just look at u funny when u wave at them. 34 drivers are much more friendly.

Since we're short on 34gtr owners, a general 34 owners cruise maybe more suitable...I remember there was one a few years ago to foster along the lakes way.

Matt, I know how u feel bout the car...mines missing an engine and gearbox atm.

Oh wow, the wait is killing me... Hope you get yours sorted... I will have updates in my build thread on Tuesday to let you guys know where I get too..... Can't wait to get SAU NEWCASTLE happening guys :D

A 34 cruise would be awesome, they are a great looking car! But in saying that, a general import cruise will be good for the Newy scene too...

The engine is at red r racing and The dirt man himself is on the case - I have upmost confidence in him.

I'll look out for the update

Don't know anyone else

Yeah see a lot around but probably not on the forum

A cruise through Cessnock to broke, Millbrodale then singleton for lunch and to branxton the back way would be good

Or Wollombi and back via the mountain and the F3 would be good I reckon

Yeah probably

I'm to old to hang with the young kids

Come on, it will be fun, plus we need 'responsible' mature adults to make us look respectable lol. (Also, you have that black Tommy K 34GTT right?)

i think 90% of the 34s i see are NAs.. well have P plates.

i dont care where we go but preferable not 100000000000000000 kms, that odo is getting way to high for my liking hah.

you sound like me lol. Are your kms geniune?

Was thinking of organizing a wollombi run, never been out there, but some of the roads out there look like fun

i havnt been out there either, it could be interesting. If the cars finished or not on a truck to Perth (mooving soon), i'm in. Otherwise i might have to hitch a ride or bring something considerable slower along. lol

I'm 21 so I won't be helping the image haha. Although my car is fresh as fck so cops will be more miring then hating :)

It has 117000kms and to lookat it I'd say it has 50,000. It's in the same nick then my new tiida I got 06 model with 57000kms on it

And I got it stock as a rock with original untouched wiring of cd player and speakers and exhaust bolts hadn't been touched. So heaps happy with it :) except that f**king number sigh...

Will be looking to gtr in years to come and that number is gunna make it difficult because of stupid people hah

10000045000??? That's a tough car!!! ;)

Smarta$$ :rofl2:

The truck I drive is just over 12 mths old and has 74 000 klms

Does that count?

Haha, sort of.... One of our work cars is 2 years old and is just over 200,000 NOT bad for a kia diesal.... Has done wheel bearings and diff bearings but otherwise all good....

My poor 34 has done many K's but if i keep replacing parts ill get back too 0km soon enough :w00t:

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
