I have finally made the decsion to sell my Skyline as for the past 18 months it has driven a whole 1500km as i have a company car and do not need it any more. I have owned it for the last 3 years and it is basically a completly stock car with a couple of minor mods that i have done.

I will be selling it without a RWC as i just dont have time to get one sorted but i dont think it will need much to get one any way.

1995 R33 GTS25T manual Coupe in white. it is the series 1.5

has travelled 127,000km. I bought it at 107,000 and the guy had it imported in 2001 so has been in the country for a long time. He had replaced all the shockies with Munroe sports shocks as well as nolethane bushes in the front.

AT time of purchase i changed the timing belt, water pump and associated items. Also had my steering rack reconditioned due to it leaking

I have changed the oil every 5,000km and the plugs in it are only 1000km old.

Interior is fantastic. No tears in the seats, it has a full set of original skyline mats. The only issue inside is the gearboot and handbrake boot are spilt and the dash surround has a few bubbles in it. It has a aftermarket steering wheel in it. I still have original steering wheel.

It has a stereo with a i pod cord in the glovebox as well as splits in the front.

It has the original wheels on it with basically no gutter rash and good tyres about 75% Standard bodykit with only small marks around it. Pretty clean i think for a 18year old car.

Mods

HAs a 2 1/2 inch cat back exhaust whitch is pretty quiet ( i am mature age so didnt want anything too loud) I have a 2/12 mild steel front pipe that hasnt been fitted as well that will go with the car as well as the standard exhaust.

K & N panel filter in stock airbox.

12 month old new alloy radiator

It runs factory boost just bypassed the two stage to just run 7psi all the time.

I have a set of 18" rims that will go with the car as well that need tyres they used to have 245's on them.

Also has a plumb back Turbosmart BOV and window tint

Now the bad points.

Clock spring is broken so airbag light is on. Was going to replace it through Chris but just didnt get around to it

Small amount of surface rust in boot on left hand side.

Boot leaks a little in rain ( which i think most R33's do)

Brakes prob need doing, pads a little low

It has a couple of bushes in the HICAS that are split so they would probably need replacing to get a RWC

NEeds a battery as it has sat for a while ( i prob try and drive it once every 3 weeks) it needs a jump start and it is now not holding charge, I might put one in if i get the right price

IT is a sad time asi love this car but it is not fair on it just sitting around as it is a great car and someone should enjoy it.

Now price. as i said it wont have a RWC i am asking for $6000. I am located in Warner on Brisbanes northside

i am negoitable but i think that is a good price for a vehicle that is basically stock and you can modify it to suite your own style

    • I wasn’t able to replicate the sound anymore. It was a one time sound so maybe it was just coincidence but it was like small pebbles being dropped in a coke can.   should I try cleaning the MAF? It could be it’s functioning but dirty? I don’t know.
    • Update 4: Hi all. The car drives again! Haven't driven for long, only to store it in the garage again, but the test drive was successful. The coolant and oil leaks seem to be fixed for now. Temps on the engine were also very good, while moving I never even saw 80C water during the approx. 30 minute drive. Ate up all the coolant in the reservoir though so will have to fill that even more when I go to the car next time. One thing that pisses me off is that the RPM gauge is still f**ked, I even resoldered the board twice and used copper paste on the silly screws that are used as connections. Next time I take it out I'll take apart the board and fit new components, I'll see if I can get a replacement IC for it.  I have an appointment set for 22nd of September for the engine tune to 370hp. Alignment also still needs to be done. My hope is that I can get all the legal stuff over with by the end of this season. Anyone of you have advice regarding intercoolers? Currently there is an APEXI core fitted, one of those weird hybrid ones, 600x270x76. I don't think it's bad but it's not new and now I still have the chance to change it now to legally include it in the paperwork. Only issue is that the only options that would arrive in time are a HKS Type R intercooler or generic Ebay spec intercoolers comparable to a JustJap one. Ideally I'd order a Plazmaman but it takes over a month to receive which would mean making the car legal has to wait until next season. Would love to hear some input on this. Same story for my injectors, the previous owner was a nunce and put ID 1050x on the engine. They work but are obviously not ideal at "normal" power levels. But I don't see a reason to change them unless the tuner says it's necessary. I read online before buying a different exhaust that the top secret style rear diffusers won't fit due to the size of the rear resonators. My buddy and I made it work by slightly "adjusting the shape" of the mounting bracket and making some spacers out of 3d print for the mounting bolts. Fits like a charm. Just putting this here in case someone has this problem. Even the hefty HKS Silent Hi Power rear can fits without hitting anything.
    • Well they got my money but they are not getting my gearbox !
    • It's needed for rolling idle up, and I think it is a decider on VCT also.
    • I mean, not really. Link ECU's can absolutely still have errors from the ECU thinking it's getting a sensor it's not expecting. I would imagine the speed at the ECU level in Nistune does absolutely nothing anyway? I assume the ECU does not do any fancy TC stuff with regards to front+rear wheel speed or anything of that like anyway. Someone who uses Nistune may be more fluent in it.
