Long drive from Sydney to Orange...round trip

Has anyone done this?

I plan to have a long drive to there, never done it before, all I know is far on west..anyone can give me an idea for how long it takes, which route..etc..I check some info from whereis.com.au, seems damm far..

I plan to leave around 6:00AM and back to sydney before 5:00PM..

You should shit it in man, i live in Bathurst, takes me bout 2 1/2 hours to Syd and Orange is only 45 from Bathurst, worth the trip.

Just get on the M4 and follow it all the way through to Lithgow, Bathurst, then Orange, easy as man

according to travelmate, sydney to sydney via orange is 7:58, nearly eight hours. the drive through the blue mountains is slow, but once you get down mt victoria its a good run.

I drove to Goulburn and it was pretty boring going down and back except for the road company.

Wagga sucked the nads as well.

Round trip should be about 6 - 7 hours.

Once last year our school bus driver did Bathurst > Sydney in 2 1/2 hours and that was with relatively safe driving!

Hey wat are you guys up to in orange? i'm from orange and there is starting to get a bit of an import club thing happening up here with a few nissan and toyota's. Look out for a few cars with a 'Kamikaze Drag and Drift' Stickers on the front window cause thats me and a few mates. It only takes about 3 1/2 hours from sydney to get here.
