Cage is a Safety21 painted black if anyone was curious.

I'll have a dig through the rest of the stuff as well over the weekend.

I know there is a brand new cluster surround I want $120 delivered anywhere in Australia for.

A polished oil cap with the Datsun logo on it that I picked up from Jenesis to suit a FJ20 (and I think L series motors too?) - $100 posted anywhere in Australia.

The following parts are gone;

Iron mask front end

Jenesis FRP lip and skirts

Recaro seats with mesh head rests

Jenesis 260 km/h speedo with 10,000 rpm tacho

Jenesis oil cap and gear knob

Grey tail lights

Shell is gone

  • 2 weeks later...

I've heard back from Steve and its all sorted out, i'm just waiting on the postman now.

Glenn,

I have brand new heater control knobs we talked about in 2010 if that's what you require???

I thought you'd forgotten about me with those.. I hadn't heard back from you regarding them.

Dennis will one of your Paul Newmans be back in Adelaide for the Nationals?

Also you wouldn't happen to know where to get your hands on any of these in Australia?... Im still chasing some.

Sorry guys I have been away with work. It's a pretty frustrating time to be involved with any part of the mining industry in WA right now, even for an Accountant.

Glenn, I believe Jenesis reproduced those parts, but may be sold out? Some guys on the US forums where talking about them. Sadly mine had perished too much.

I have also dug out the following;

Brand new RS badges $100 delivered.

FRP Guage holder (goes around the stereo, same as this; http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e135553540 but painted black) $120 delivered.

I have a standard DR30 cluster if anyone needs one? $100 delivered

If anyone wants anything act quick, I am about to head to Singapore and Tokyo on Wednesday morning for two weeks. Sadly I haven't made any inroads in organizing shipping for the FRP bumper but I do have a few spares days before I go back to work when I get home to have a look into it. I will also be digging through even more stuff once I get home. I know I have some dog bones that allow you to fit Nissan 4pot calipers to the standard R30 suspension somewhere too, and all the braided lines to fit the power steering resivour as well.

Cheers,

Steve

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
