Hi!

I'm building a new engine for my R34 GTT.
When I started assembling it, I noticed that my current engine block (which is from an old RB25 with hydraulic valve lifters) has a oil restrictor to the VCT, while my old Neo engine block does not have one.
My theory is, that maybe the Neo head has a built in restrictor, therefore not needing one in the block?
So:
My old shitty Neo-block does not have a restrictor for the VCT.
My renovated nonNeo-block (RB25 with hydraulic valve lifters) has one (photo below).
Do I need to remove the restrictor, or can I just leave it there?
Help is much appriciated as my build is currently on hold because of this.
