Hi guys,

Looking at selling my maloo, its a real collectors car basically brand new.

Funds going towards my R32 GTR build and upcoming wedding.

Hsv Holden special vehicles Maloo

2 new tires replaced.

MUST SELL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Contact me to view. Slightly negotiable.
.
2001 model
Build Number. 005
ODO. 39,000Ks
Manual 6 Speed
Red
Cloth Interior
5.7lt LS1 255KW HSV tuned motor.

Car is in original condition, only had 2 owners, i have owned it since 25,000ks and it has been serviced twice in the time i have had it. Oil filter, oil, spark plugs and air filter.

Has aftermarket exhaust fitted (still have full original HSV system for buyer) DiFillipo 3 inch; headers into high flow cats and x-force mild steel 2.5 inch; cat back.

Has had a new battery and alternator fitted, with recent wheel alignment carried out aswell.

This is a highly collectible car in its current state. Or a very nice orginal example that will last you well into the future.

Can do roadworthy and rego swap if in QLD.

Always garaged.

Yes you might be able to buy the same model cheaper or a later model for the same price but you will not find another at this price with the low build number (005) and low ks (39,000)

Reason for sale is i don't want to keep putting ks on the car and storage is becoming an issue + getting married.

Please contact Michael on 0409521600 or [email protected] for more information.

    • No. I think it might be the AFM. Hence the use of the terms "swaptronics", which implies the use of swapping out electronics for the purpose of diagnosis. It's about the only way to prove that a small/niggling/whatever problem with an AFM or a CAS or similar is actually caused by that AFM/CAS/whatever. A known good item swapped in that still gives the same problem is likely to be caused somewhere else. They're all the same. Spraying AFMs with cleaner is an each way bet between cleaning it and f**king it.
    • Oh wow! This might actually work amazingly. Do you know the ratio of the diff? I was told the only thing you need to make sure of is if the front & rear diff ratios are the same. Ours is a 4.083 Thanks!
    • You think its the AFM? I know its a common issues on R32s. I find it coincidental how this issue raised right after cleaning the fuel system. As everything except the fuel system was fine before. I tried running it with the IACV unplugged but did not notice a difference and still stalled. However, the RPM gauge is not in the cluster right now, so I will need to connect the laptop again and use Nistune to check the RPM. I will check this weekend.
