RB25DET flywheel Q

Can anyone tell me the diameter of one of these ??

Is it the same as RB30E/T ??

No, the RB30ET uses a different (larger) flywheel. The clutch also isn't compatible.

If you're in a desperate pinch, the RB30E clutch bolts up to the 25 flywheel, the difference being (apart from lower clamping pressure) is the RB30E clutch uses 6 bolts to attach the pressure plate to the flywheel whereas the RB25DET clutch uses 9 bolts.

So it sounds like the RB25DET flywheel is probably about the same diameter as the RB30E type (??) - just looking at buying a steel blank to have a flywheel made.....

Yeah thats about right. Wise idea about the steel flywheel, who's going to make it and how much is it likely to cost?
