Skyline Centre
Hi Guys, Can anyone recommend a good software package for translating Japanese into English & vice Versa. Does one exist ? I already know about babbel fish & excite which are as good as hopeless, i am prepared to pay good money for a excellent software package that translates perfectly with structure & no mistakes etc.. :wizard: Cheers Ben Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/53778-software/ Share on other sites
funkymonkey
Um... systran... industry standard translation software... you can even add your own words to it (so instead of Buritsu, you can tell it to read it as Blitz). As for perfect translation from a machine... pahaha. Dosen't exist. You have to have that done by someone with a brain. We use systran for any printed docs that we get at J-Spec, but some of us have rudimentary knowledge of japanese. Whatever we can't read we get an inhouse translator to work out. The good thing about the Automotive lingo in Japan is that its written in katakana, so its basic letters that make english sounding words.
