leb
Hi All, In 19 days I'm beginning to go shopping in order to get myself a s14 200sx (I know not quite a skyline but hey its still a nissan). At the moment I'm sifting through classifieds to see what ones are on the market. I'm running out places to look. (I'm after a stockish one [particularly no boost controllers etc] That has done around 100,000km - 120,000km MAX, my budget is around $20-25k.) Do any of you know of some respected classifieds that aren't listed below? igor
You missed my favorite one: www.carsales.com.au. Most of their adds have pics. As far as up-to-date'ness concerned Autotrader(trading post) is the best one. Basically all those web sites would have about 90% of cars for sale. The rest are either not advertised or advertised through specialist forums (like this one). arm85
Also try www.firesport.com I was pointed this way when i was looking for a car and found they have a lot of stuff on their, but i think once you look at the main 3 carsales, carpoint and drive, you will start seeing mostly the same cars again. leb
stretch yourself to 25k and buy an s15 Yeah insurance would be even worse on it though and 20 is more my max but im looking at 25's to try and negotiate down to a more reasonable price Btw, just out of curiousity, how would my premium be looking (comprehensive) with an s14 I'm 18.5 and have had no accidents or driving offences. aybee
premiums on 200s (according to a mate at AAMI, and many others here) is more than a skyline and wrx. although the excesses are cheaper. i would presonally rather a car with lower premiums. i always thought i would get an s14 for my next car cause i assumed inusrance would be less....
