rb25 throttle body size

heya,

jus wondering what the size of a std rb25 throttle body is?

would adding a larger plenum and larger throttle body to a mild rb25 (zorst, fmic, pod, boost) have a positive effect on performance or would it make a negative effect given it is running the small std snail?

I think the throttle body is 75mm

I recently wanted a xf throttle body put on but found out its not much bigger

I had the standard one shaved inside to make it larger and shaved the fin aswell so that when its wide open there is minimal restriction

As for the plenum, do it! I had a custom one made at about 6.5litres, as compared to the standard being about 1.5litre

The plenum makes yyour cooler piping about 1.5meters shorter, therefore the air gets there quicker and has less time to heat up

I run the standard turbo, my custom plenum made it alot more responsive
