R32 Engine Temperature

How long does it usually take for the R32 temperature to reach the middle of the guage. Because today when I went for a drive the guage went straight up to the middle after something like 500 metres. Although its not over heating or anything, it just seems to reach operating temperature pretty fast. Is this normal?

mine takes about 5 mins to get to the middle. If it doesn't go over half I wouldn't worry although check to see the guage is not faulty in case you are over heating. If the coolant isn't boiling I think your okay.
