Mik
Just a couple of questions about the car's listing on HPI: * Why does it say no Nitrous when the pass was made using nitrous? * Why does it say tyres azenis when the pass was made on slicks? wreckedhead
i didnt add the car the info was recieved from C and V, but just to add the nitrous wasnt working cause the gauge i bought from star performance in croydon was busted and leaking gas in the boot, and the tyres were hard compound slicks which didnt help me at all, would have been beter if i used azenis semi slicks, but nothing i can do about that anyways, the wednesday after australia day ill be back at the creek running gas and the new mickey thomsons, hopeful will get a beter time then 10.8 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/62179-eoi-1994-r32-gtr/#findComment-1175479 Share on other sites
Mik
Well...I was there on the night of the run and I know you weren't running Azenis tyres and you were running nitrous. The car was only trapping about 120mph without nitrous if I remember right. If I remember right...I don't think you drove the car on the 10 second pass either. Mik
Mik, what relevence does all this have to the sale of the car? If someone advertises a car and makes claims about its performance (times it has run), then he or she shouldn't mislead potential buyers by claiming that the time was achieved using street tyres and no nitrous when in fact, the car needed to run slicks and nitrous to achieve the time. NXTIME
So he bought a car from a guy selling it after you put down a 1K deposit? How does amount to him screwing you over? Sounds more like the original owner screwing you over, not the purchaser. What did you lose as a direct result of wreckedhead's actions? Either way, I don''t think this is the place to air this. Let the guy advertise his car, unless the mods think otherwise. Sounds like a top car. I saw it in action at WSID last year. Good luck with the drags and sale. Are you a potential buyer? Too many knockers around here. The fact remains, the car ran a 10.8 and is being sold in the same guise as it was when it ran this time. I don't see him denying any of these "facts". *snip* i didnt add the car the info was recieved from C and V *snip* Reasonable enough explanation. Prank, sorry but this guy gets up my nose...... seriously gtrken, i dont realy care if you wanted to buy the car or not, the previous owner said you were a shit kicker and he didnt want to sell to you, so i flew down to melb and picked the car up with cash money, if you see anything wrong with that dont hesitate to call me so we can discuss this further, but other wise keep your thoughts to yourself as i dont care what the hell you put in your nose. if you have the money ill gladly sell the car to you, if now take out a load and buy a datsun 180b Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/62179-eoi-1994-r32-gtr/#findComment-1175613 Share on other sites

True that and i agree that he is entitled to advertise the car.. I am also emtitled to do the best for the SAU members and advise them of the worth and viability of the advertised product... This is, as far as I know , a freedom of speech within reason, forum... To quote a well known phrase * I call it as I see it*.... NXTIME
Fair enough, but surely the seller is the one to blame for taking a deposit and then selling the car to someone else. I have had the exact same thing happen to me. I didn't blame the guy who bought it, but rather the guy selling it as legally, the deposit makes the sale a binding contract. I let it go and just took it on the chin. Did you at least get your deposit back? I don't agree with what the notion that he may have intentionally bought the car knowing that you had already put a deposit on it, but any blame lies in the hands of the seller. Anyway, build a bridge guys. It's only a car. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/62179-eoi-1994-r32-gtr/#findComment-1175620 Share on other sites

Blitz
Wreckedhead is on thin ice as it is - he knows he will be banned immediately if he puts a foot wrong. As for the rest of you, the for sale rules apply - next person to chat/argue on this thread will be issued with a warning.
