Can I ask why?

Having stuffed around with fitting a non oem booster and relocating the clutch master on my car (not a Skyline) I'd suggest you could be in for a world of trouble. In particular, setting up the brake pedal so it will still actuate the booster in its new position whilst maintaining acceptable pedal feel might be fun.

That said, anything is possible and if its only a few mm it might not be too hard.

yeh i would maybe need to move it over 5cm max...

its not definate that i will need to move it because im getting a new plenum am im thinking it might not fit just wondering.......

I'd be making the plenum to suit the car, rather than modifying the car to suit the plenum.

5cm is what I would consider a lot. Sticking your head under the dash would probably give you a good idea of the degree of difficulty...

changing the brake booster setup would take you a week non stop working on it to get it all working properly! head aches plus!!

modifying the plenum would take about 3 hours at the most, less headaches and it wouldn't effect the power at all, you choose which way you wana go with it..

u could spend a bomb on inboard Willwood Pedal sets.. and do away with all of your standard pedals and slave/master cylinders completely..... u know like ..similar to how the V8supercars have their inboard pedals setup on the floor

but thats MASSIVE amounts of work... repositioning the seat ..filling up holes ..fitting new pedals.. engineers cert.. etc etc

GTR-BEN

i just received the design of the plenum and i think the clutch booster is now my Problem it may be in the way about 2 cm's or so...

What can i do ? if i remove it what changes?

just a question... why are you having a plenum such that it is going to cause clearance issues?

would a decent plenum and a decent designer be able to make the plenum and accomodate for the clutch and brake boosters??

how about a Greddy plenum ?

I have a greddy plenum sitting right next to me...But the car will be making over 1000hp so i will need something bigger and less restrictive...

The person making the plenum is not in this country....But thats not a real issue as he has the mesurements and some parts i sent up...

The only thing is to do a custom large plenum the clutch booster is in the way..But things are working out as we just need to tone down the rear size of the plenum and shorten the runners :)

Anyways i still might have to remove and relocate the clutch booster so any one know whats the best way ?

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
