Nismo 300 km/h speedo not working

Hi i bought a used nismo 300km/h speedo from the US anyway i put it in

the problem is that the speed shows only about half of what i'm actually doing

eg: if i'm going about 60k's and it only shows around 30k's. i was thinking it may have been calibrated to miles per hour seeing it was from the US. is it possible to get it fixed. any ideas

ummm... i woulda thought you'd need a new speedo gear as well as the dash insert... makes sense considering the standard speedo goes to 180... multiply that by 2 and you have 360... close enough to 300...

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM ,I BOUGHT ONE & WHEN I FITTED IT TO MY R33 GTS-T IT ONLY READS HALF WHAT I AM DOING?? I THINK THESE SPEEDOS NEED A SPECIAL SENDER AT THE GEARBOX END , ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET ONE????
