Well I recently did an rb25 swap in my r32.

1 week ago I noticed during a rainy day that i could not stop my wiper blades from moving. They would move automatically in at the INT speed even though I had put it to OFF.

The wiper blade problem went away the next day but came back again.

Now today, I parked the car with the windows about 2 inches down. When I came back and started the car, I could not move my windows back up.

The RPM tach also stopped working. And when you turn your key to the ON position, usually all the engine check lights go on, but mine dont come on anymore.

What could it be? A retarded fuse or something!?

or

Could it be a wiring problem? But i dont see why the shop i go to would need to play with that wiring

for it to be a fuse, your fuse box will have had to melt or something to short between fuses so a quick check will show you if this is the cause (i have seen it happen to a vl commo) but i doubt it.

I'd guess wiring short somewhere, but i don't really know much about where the wiring is run in skylines to be able to tell you which area to look in. If its recent the workshop you got the conversion done in should be able to fix it free, if its something that they've done.

EDIT: Sorry just reread, fuse could possibly be cause of power window probs.

    • If there's enough meat in the housing where you want to put the M12 adapter, then do it, but be aware that if/when you f**k that up you'll probably be repairing it before doing anything else. I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
