If i was still to get my licence the only car in our household that i could drive (out of 5) would be dads M3... it might be the second fastest (after mine hahaha) but is it just me or does this make no sence? the point is that often (i know not all the time, i have bought everything i own myself) Quite often these performance cars are bought by parents from well off familes. all thats going to happen now is that instead of buying an R33 the kid is going to get an old porsche or variable timing car. alot of the time these cars are faster then the standard R33.

Other then this does anyone know what the deal is if you get cought driving a banned car because my G/F is going to have to drive mine and she doesnt get her licence till just after the law comes in.

I believe it is a combination of both, fine and loss of points.
